Business Studies is a subject that has direct relevance in the modern world. Many individuals work in a business organisation and the importance of businesses to our daily lives has grown rapidly in the last fifty years. We equip students with an understanding of the way in which businesses operate and make decisions. We give students a range of skills including problem solving, evaluation, analysis and decision making. Case studies are drawn from the real world and students develop a much more in-depth understanding of the world around them.
Areas of study include business finance, human resources, operations, marketing, and how to respond to the
changing business environment, such as the recession or environmental pressures.
