Matthew Arlnold School

Students at Matthew Arnold School in Key Stage 3 experience two lessons of the Core Curriculum over a fortnight. Within this subject area the students cover internet safety, healthy sexual relationships, careers, citizenship, finance and food technology.

In Key Stage 4, the students experience three off timetable events which prepare them for their decisions in Years 10 and 11. These include Careers and Post-16 options, healthy sexual relationships and risk assessment, creating a safe lifestyle.

In Key Stage 5, the Sixth Form have core lessons in which we build on the themes of Key Stages 3 and 4. We spend time in these lessons specialising in UCAS applications, personal statements and preparing students for work places and apprenticeships.
