A Level Results 2016

On this important day for our sixth form students, we are once again delighted with our A level results.

The combination of excellent teaching and commitment to learning has resulted in a fine set of results across all subjects.

For individual students there are many stories of success and we congratulate them

all for their hard work and the contribution that they have made to the school in their time here.

The A level grades are crucial, as we all know, for providing choice over the next stage of a young adult's life.

Most of our A level students choose to go on to university and we have an excellent track record of students

securing their place at the university of their choice with their A level grades.  The vast majority of our students

choose to study for their degree at one of the Russell Group Universities (the top-rated UK universities,

including Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick, Imperial College and Bristol).  A number of students choose to start

Higher Level apprenticeships following their A levels and these are becoming increasingly popular.

Whatever our students choose to do following their individual A level results today, we wish them the very best for their future
